  • RxLocal App

    One of the best ways to communicate with us is to use our smartphone app.  Our RxLocal app lets you see your prescription profile, request refills, read or watch education materials, and securely message with our staff.  You can search your App Store for RxLocal or text “RxLocal” to 64890.  You will need one of your prescription numbers to complete the registration.

    There are several ways that you can request a refill of your medications.

    Walk in

    It is best if you notify us at least one day before you plan to pick up your refills just in case we need to contact your prescriber or order the product.  Some brand name items may take more than one day to receive.  The more lead time, the better chance that we will have everything you need when you get to our pharmacy.

  • MedSync

    The best option for getting your medications on time and without hassle is to have us sync your refills so they can all be picked up the same time each month or every three months.  We will work with you and your prescriber to get things synced and keep them synced.  Instead of having to remember to call us, we will contact you a few days before your refills are due to ask if there are any changes or doctor visits coming up.  We will not start working on your refills until we have made contact with you.  We will then take care of everything so that all you have to do is pick them up, or have us deliver.

  • Delivery

    We deliver within the city limits of Harlan every weekday afternoon.  We also deliver to several other communities to the West and to the South of Harlan on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We do not deliver to rural addresses.

  • Drive Thru Window

    Our drive thru window is a great convenience for picking up prescriptions and over-the-counter items.  If you request OTC items when you request your prescription refill, we will have them together when you arrive.  To minimize lineups at the drive thru, we do not allow you to wait at the window while we get your prescription ready.

  • Medication Packaging

    If you are taking several medications and would like extra help taking them correctly, we can package your prescriptions in sealed organizers from Dispill.  Instead of getting multiple prescription vials, you will get a bubble pack organized by time of day.  For example, all of your Monday morning medications will be in one easy to open, dated, and color coded bubble.  We can separate doses for up to four times daily dosing.  Ask our staff for more details.

  • Other Services

    You will find that we offer many additional services that aren’t always found at other pharmacies.  These include:

    Immunizations for flu, COVID, shingles, pneumonia, tetanus, and RSV

    In-Pharmacy testing for strep and flu.  With a positive result we may be able to provide treatment medications without a visit to the doctor.

    Advanced blood pressure monitoring using in-store readings or home blood pressure measurements

    Diabetic shoe fitting and billing

    Medicare Part-D plan reviews

    In-Person and telephone medication therapy management sessions

    DEA authorized unused medication destruction

  • After Hours Emergencies

    If you need urgent assistance after hours, please call our pharmacy and select the option for emergency after hours service.  You will be prompted to leave a message and we will call you back.  This service is only available pending pharmacist availability and is not guaranteed.
